So far, Mr. Guenther’s class has been doing very well on promoting the dinner. Mr. G has been sending pairs of students into classrooms to present information about the dinner to all classes in the school. I was paired with Conner. Both of us were given a script to practice and memorize.
On the day of the presentations, we were both very nervous and afraid that we were going to mess up our lines. But after a few classrooms, everything turned out well. We weren’t scared at all!
My favorite experience presenting was visiting Mrs. Felix’s class. All of the students were very interested and listening to us very well. Also, when we left, we heard kids saying,” Wow! I want to come to the IGames dinner!” and “That sounds really cool!”
My least favorite experience was visiting Mrs. Hill’s class. It was my least favorite because it was my first presentation. I hadn’t gotten used to speaking in front of other classes and I didn’t know my lines very well. When we left the room, a feeling of relief ran through me.
